Privacy Policy

Account information. Name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google; we never see your Google password.

Campaign and organization details you enter — your platform, your framework questions, your answers, and any logos or badges you upload.

Endorsement activity — which packets were submitted to which organizations, and the outcome.

An organization's public page shows the organization, its framework, and the endorsements it has issued. Answers a candidate submits are shown to the organizations they applied to, and are published only where the candidate and organization both intend them to be.

Your email address and password are never public. Draft packets are not visible to anyone until you submit them.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with data brokers, advertisers, or political vendors. We do not build voter files. We do not run advertising on the platform.

Vouch is non-partisan infrastructure. We do not use what's on the platform to advocate for or against anyone.

Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Uploads are stored on access-controlled storage.

Edit or delete your packets and framework content at any time. To export your data or close your account entirely, email us and we'll handle it.

Note that an endorsement an organization has already published is a public statement by that organization; closing your account removes your account but does not retract their statement.
